3.2 Beam Components

Beams

Beams are used to bear the load. They consist of the beam profile
and the beam end connectors which are welded to both ends of the
profile. The end connectors have 3 and 4 hooks.

Beams hook into the rack uprights.

The beam length (clear entry) is the dimension between uprights
once installed.

Fitted with safety spring clip

Two clips per beam (left and right)

Spring Clip

Fitted to the beam prior to beam location

Used to help prevent accidental dislodgement of the beam when in use
