If we can be as much deliberate, conscious and serious about

grooming our children with the good qualities of life with God the

same way we groom them to be educated, it helps in making not just
success but good success and a better society, a happy marriage, .etc.

it touches every aspect of life.

For I have chosen him (just as HE choose you ) so that he will

direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of

the Lord by doing what is right and just, So that the Lord will bring

about for Abraham all what he has promised him. ''Gen 18: 19. It
means there are some promises of God upon your life or family that

will be fulfilled upon your children depending on how you raise

them. For instance 1 Chronicles 22:8 – 13; 28: 1 – 10; 2 Sam 7: 4 –
17; 1 kg 8: 25; 6: 11 – 12; 9: 4 – 9, the promise of God over David's

household and in 1 Kg 11: 11 – 13 it shows that the promise to

establish David's kingdom can't happen as long as the descendants

of David are rebellious and disobedient.

The father of the righteous child has great joy;
a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.
Proverbs 23: 24.
