· Integrity: This is total honesty and sincerity. The quality of being

honest and having strong moral principles. This quality is hardly

seen in the world today and is more painful among Christians who
will quote all the scripture and forget the one that said '' You belong

to your father the devil and you want to carry out your father's
desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the

truth, for there is no truth in Him. When he lies, he speaks his

native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. ‘‘(John
8:44). When the children cannot trust the words of their parents and

as a pastor the message you preach which your children listen to has
no place in their life. We should know when it comes to children that

'' Actions speak louder than words''.

· Moral: They said attitude is everything. It means holding and

manifesting high principles for proper conduct. Moral values are

very important to a child's development (3 John 1:11; 2Peter 1:5;
James 1: 21; Rom 12:2). But it is disturbing and frightening in our

modern world almost five out of every ten children were born out of

wedlock, its either they are cohabiting with a man, Baby Mama or
Single mothers, Boyfriend or Sin partner or Divorce which is the

order of the day. It is becoming a norm in our society and more than

eighty percent of teenager believes that there is nothing wrong with
sex before marriage or cohabiting with the opposite gender. Our

children are surrounded by this ''illicit morality" and we are to
imbibe in them the truth of God.
