‘The fear of the LORD is the beginning

of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One

is understanding;

(Proverbs 9:10).

For the LORD gives wisdom;

from his mouth come knowledge and understanding

(Proverb 2:6).

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil ;

pride, and arrogancy,and the evil way,
and the forward mouth,do I hate.

(Proverb 8 :13;16:6).
