There are so much heavy weight of sin they are being expose to,
weighing them down, causing distraction, loss of focus and battle of
mind on what is right or wrong, true or false .etc. How to shepherd
the hearts of our children with biblical wisdom and contemporary
courage (the quality of mind and spirit or quality of being brave
when facing a difficult or dangerous situation or decisions in this
present perverse age) without endangering their lives in evil or
committing suicide or depression. In a generation where
lawlessness abounds and immorality is applauded and endorsed
(porn even in video songs, and cartoon) evil are the order of the day
(fear of being killed, child molestation, child trafficking), families
are failing apart (Marriage are no more sacred union, Divorce, single
parents, parent having carnal knowledge of their children, Gays or
what we call cross dressing, brothers and sisters killing each other,
etc.) When most of their time is spent in school, when the church is
no more conducive (in a state of confusion on what is Godly with so
much philosophy of men etc. (1 Corinthian 11: 2-4; Col 2:8).Also,
there is increasing stubbornness and rebellion among children as if it
is “follow come". All eyes are on the Western world who are even
confused yet Africans are quick to copy their pattern in raising
children and things are getting worse. We keep shouting and are tired
of Counting three to get them to do what is right. The question is
what do we do, where do we start from, Do we stand a chance and
what are our chances in raising fear and godly successful children?
Is there hope for the next generation?
