Government to Invest RM6.25 billion to Revive
5 Major Industries
Budget 2022 mainly focuses the “sustainability” and “trajectory growth” of the economy. In order to
sustain our country's momentum of economic growth, our government will invest more than RM2 billion to
promote emerging technologies and low-carbon environmental protection.
Additionally, the government had also allocated RM6.25 billion to revive 5 major industries, including
Arts and Tourism, Creative Industries, Agriculture and Fishery, Plantation, and Retail, in a budget allocation
covering various subsidies and grants that total over RM1 million.
