RCEP + CPTPP
The Future of Asian Trade
“A new trade agreement that will shape global economics”
Malaysia has deposited with Secretary General of ASEAN instrument of
ratification of The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP)
Agreement on January 17, 2022, which means that RCEP shall enter into force for
Malaysia on March 18 this year.
Meanwhile, the approval of the Comprehensive and
Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership
(CPTTP) is expected to be approved by the
cabinet in the first quarter. The instrument of
ratification was also submitted and will
enter into force for Malaysia on
March 18 this year. RCEP

and CPTTP, Malaysia's
