AT THE FOREFRONT
The 1946 Finance Company Leader Professional
Development (LPD) session at the Pentagon!
On August 8, 2025, Soldiers from the 1946th Finance Company had the incredible opportunity to
conduct a Leader Professional Development (LPD) session at the Pentagon — right in the heart of
Army financial operations.
We were honored to engage directly with Ms. Candace Kinn, Acting Assistant Secretary of the
Army for Financial Management & Comptroller, and SGM Terry Anderson, the Army Finance &
Comptroller Sergeant Major.
The conversation sparked meaningful dialogue as our Soldiers asked questions and discussed
key topics such as Audit Readiness, Stewardship of Taxpayer Dollars, Artificial Intelligence in
Finance, and most importantly — taking ownership of our craft as Finance Soldiers.
SGM Anderson presented 3 Soldiers with coins for their achievements. Proud to represent the
premier Finance Company in the National Guard, right here in the Nation’s Capital.
