DIAMOND SABER IS ALIVE AND WELL! Twenty years and going strong! The exercise
portion of the U.S. Army Reserve's Diamond Saber exercise kicked off at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-
Lakehurst, New Jersey, 8 June 2024.
While the challenge really begins for the Active and Reserve Component financial management
Soldiers and Marines tomorrow, the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve Airmen were
already in the thick of things!
Established in 2004 and celebrating its 20th iteration, Diamond Saber is a U.S. Army Reserve-led
exercise that trains and evaluates Active and Reserve Component Soldiers and joint partners on
warfighting functions such as funding the force, payment support, disbursing operations,
accounting, fiscal stewardship, auditability, and data analytics.
