•   Nepal has been conducting its own Business Leader Program connecting business
                   community and find relevant social and economic objective for which Buddhist
                   community can contribute.

               •   Taiwan’s “Shulin Lantern Festival” during the Chinese New Year, is a successful model
                   combining three different social groups, including our Buddhist community, Taoism
                   temple and local city government. It is a week long holiday festival which attracted over
                   100,000 tourists to boost the small town’s economy for 15 years
               •   In China, it has been popular among the business to host meditation practice classes,
                   as a way for the entrepreneurs and business executive to find spiritual fulfillment. It is
                   a good gateway to expose and teach Buddhism Dharma, which in turns will promote
                   a Buddhism learning in the society and encourage them to think give back to society.

               •   The Standing committee members highly expect Chairperson Mr. Andy Kaoh will be
                   able to stay in the committee. In order to keep the committee moving forward,  to
                   invite Mr. Yun Jan Chen, from the same organization to help co-chair and coordinate
                   the committee activities

            Plans in the next two years

               •   August B.E. 2562 (2019) in Kathmandu, Responsible Business Forum, Discussing
                   UNSDG goals relevant with Business
               •   November B.E. 2562 (2019), in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Business Forum

               •   B.E. 2562 (2019), in Hong Kong and Taiwan, Buddhists and Business Forum
               •   B.E. 2563 (2020)  in Mumbai, India, Business Forum

               •   Completion of www.buddhistalibaba.org Buddhist Business platform
