4. Adoption of The WFB Secretariat Report
The Secretary-General presented The WFB Secretariat Report distributed to all delegates
outlining The WFB activities on the Administration of The WFB Affairs for the period
of October B.E. 2559 (2016) to October B.E. 2561 (2018). The Secretary-General
also expressed his thanks to Vice-Presidents and EXCO Members for their assistance in
performing activities at various functions.
The Meeting took note and adopted The WFB Secretariat Report with acclamation.
5. Auditor’s Report and Financial Statements
Ms. Pensri Roungpong, Hon. Treasurer, presented the Financial Position Statements
of The WFB as at 31 December B.E. 2560 (2017) including Income and Expenditures
Statement from1 January B.E. 2559 (2016) to 31 December B.E. 2560 (2017) of which
total income was over total expenditure.
The Auditor’s Report and Financial Statements as tabled were accepted by acclamation.
6. Consideration of Applications for Membership of The WFB
Applications presented for membership were:
6.1 Bangladesh Bouddha Bhikkhu Mahasabha, Bangladesh
6.2 Vietnamese Buddhist Phuoc Hue Temple Incorporation, Australia
6.3 Daylesford Dharma School, Australia
6.4 An Sim Jeong Sa, South Korea
6.5 Federation of Australian Buddhist Councils Inc., Australia
6.6 Dipankara Buddhist Organizations, Chinese Taipei
6.7 Kapo Seba Sangha, Bangladesh
6.8 Supatipanno Foundation, Thailand
The eight applications were approved and accepted by acclamation as new Regional Centres
of The WFB.
7. Adoption of Criteria and Procedure for the Election
The Secretary-General took this opportunity to explain to the General Council about
the election process that The WFB President, Secretary-General, and Treasurer shall be
members of the Executive Council and hold the posts of Chairman, Secretary, and Hon.
Treasurer, respectively on the Executive Council.
The Meeting took note of the matter.
