Inspection
1. Horn assembly
(a) Measure the resistance value between
terminals according to the following
table.
Multimeter connection pins Standard value
1-2 4Ω
Replace the horn assembly if the measured
value is not accord to the standard value.
71 2. Horn button
(a). Press down the horn button to check if the horn sound is heard.
(b). Release the horn button to check if the horn button return to its original position and if the
horn sound is stopped.
Repair the horn button or replace the steering wheel assembly if it is not accord to the standard.
