03.1 The Pumptrack Trail Hub (2022)
The pump track itself can be considered a stand alone project. The benefit of developing the pump track first is it is
independent from forest access and ground conditions. Should the rest of the project not develop for any reason,
the pump track will remain an asset for the town. During this period the trust will also gain a valuable insight into the
availability of funds and gain access to the forest.

is included in appendix 1.
A car park has been included in the pro-
posed layout, however this should only
be constructed should it be deemed nec-
essary. Green open spaces are beautiful.
A detailed assessment has not been con-
ducted, however there are a number of car
parks in close proximity. EXISTING PARKING

NOTE: A license to occupy/lease will need to be formalised with SDC facilities management for the use of the
recreation area. An initial communication has revealed this should be achievable, however further detail will need
to included to formalise the agreement.
