It was a delightful day at the farm for the pre-playgroup and playgroup children! They had hands-
on experiences exploring different aspects of farm life, from feeding live chickens to playing with a
friendly parrot. Our activities also included learning about plants and gardening by planting seeds.
All these activities spark children’s curiosity about the natural world and encourage them to ask ques-
tions, make observations, and explore their environment, promoting inquiry-based learning. It also
acquaints children with important life skills such as responsibility, patience, teamwork, and prob-
lem-solving as they care for living creatures and tend to plants.
Farm-related tasks often involve physical activity, such as digging, planting, and watering, which con-
tribute to children’s physical development and well-being.
Overall, it was a well-rounded and educational adventure for the children!
