Coding is the process of creating instructions for computers to execute. It involves using program-
ming languages to write algorithms and commands that tell a computer how to perform specific
tasks or functions. These tasks range from simple calculations to complex operations like controlling
software applications, analysing data, or creating websites. Robotics, on the other hand, is a multi-
disciplinary field that involves the design, construction, operation, and use of robots. Robots are
machines or mechanical devices programmed to perform various tasks autonomously or semi-au-
tonomously. Robotics often encompasses aspects of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering,
computer science, and other disciplines. Coding and robotics frequently intersect, as coding is
essential for programming the behaviour and functionality of robots. By writing code, developers

can instruct robots to perform specific actions, navigate environments, interact with objects, and re-
spond to sensory input. This integration of coding and robotics enables the creation of sophisticated
autonomous systems for various applications, including manufacturing, healthcare, exploration, and
entertainment. Learning coding and robotics not only provides practical skills but also fosters
a mindset of continuous learning, adaptability, and innovation that is invaluable in today’s rapidly
evolving technological landscape. With the Gen Alphas, it is fun learning and interacting with differ-
      ent Robots.
