Improve school IT Communication and Collaboration Services
Who are the main leads and what do they need to do?
IT managers must understand the critical nature of communication and collaboration via voice, video,
and data for staff, parents, and other stakeholders in order to accomplish the school's mission.
Recommendation Summary
● Create a vision for unified communication and collaboration that spans all departments.
● Determine the services that will be required to carry out the vision.
● Develop a strategy for implementing new technologies that improve our ability to communicate and
collaborate in the most cost-effective manner possible.
Key Benefits to the school
● Encourages current and future collaborations in teaching/learning, as well as administrative functions,
on and off-campus.
● Allows for the analysis and improvement of communication and collaboration processes.
