HEAD GIRL’S ADDRESS
It’s been an honour to be
your head girl - the head
girl of the first BSO
inspected “outstanding”
school in West Africa.
To all my friends and hostel members, for the
laughter, the inside jokes, the shared struggles,
and the unforgettable memories.
To Aisha Abdulsalam and my roommate, Hauwa,
thank you for being my safe space, my partners
in chaos, and the ones who made every moment Aisha Kere-Ahmed, Head Girl, delivering her
brighter. address at the graduation ceremony.
And finally, to Mrs Kalu, words can’t fully embody
how loved and cherished you are. You motivate
me and inspire me every day. We will always be
your shining stars
To the graduating class of 2025
People always say that going out into the world
is scary, but it’s our world and our story that we’re
writing, so make it what you want it to be, be who
you always envisioned yourself to be, but most
importantly, make yourself proud. In the words of
Dr Seuss, you have to be odd to be number one,
and we were just the right kind of odd.
And so this chapter closes but our story is far from
over. Hold on to the friendships and the dreams
that define us. It’s been an honour to be your
head girl - the head girl of the first BSO inspected
“outstanding” school in West Africa.
