ver the past week, our school has
been navigating the painful news
O of the passing of a much-loved
member of staff. It has been a heavy
moment for all of us, and it is completely
understandable that many are feeling
unsettled, sad, or simply quiet as we try to
make sense of it.
Grief shows up differently for each person.
Some may cry easily; others may withdraw
or feel unusually tired. Some may find
themselves remembering small things
unexpectedly throughout the day. All of
these are normal responses to loss. They
remind us of the impact this colleague
