Come Alive Theatre is an excellent avenue for children to understand the concept of im-
mersion. It is much more than putting up a show for an audience. Theatre helps us see
a different perspective from our own. We are shown humanity, psychology, motivations,

conflict, and resolution—an experience that will help them adapt to any society.

Theatre is a cultural phenomenon that demands that society examine itself in the mirror.
We can study societal problems and attempt to find solutions. It is necessary to come to-
gether as a community to listen to opposing points of view.

This term, our mini-production is a celebration of popular Nigerian Culture. It’s a tes-

tament to the creative adaptability of our children, who have honed their script-writing
skills and are 100% involved in bringing them to life. We can’t wait to see their creativity
shine on stage!
