 Chicken shawarma is a popular

 Middle Eastern street food known
 for its bold flavours and tender meat.

 It consists of heavily marinated meat
 (usually beef or chicken) slow-roast-
 ed on a vertical rotisserie or spit.

 Thin layers of the cooked meat are
 shaved off the spit and served in

 warm pita pockets with fresh top-
 pings and tahini sauce.


 Making It:
     Slice the meat thinly and toss it in

 the shawarma seasoning, ketchup,
 garlic, onions, lemon juice, and olive
 oil.

     Serve in a wrap of Shawarma
 bread after heating in a Waffle Toast-

 er!
 It was another fun-filled day at the
 Home Economics club, with the

 children enjoying the making process
 and having delightful bites.
