experience participating in the just concluded
Inter-House Cooking Competition
he Regent Secondary School’s In-
ter-House Cooking Competition was
Tan unforgettable experience, and
I was thrilled to be part of the winning
team!
This year’s theme was Nigerian cuisine,
but we only discovered our dish upon en-
tering the kitchen. With just 1 hour and 30
minutes to cook and plate, teamwork and
quick thinking were crucial. As the judg-
es tasted our food, the tension was high,
but their nods of approval gave us confi-
dence.
Hearing our house announced as the
winner was an incredible moment. Beyond
the victory, I gained valuable skills and
unforgettable memories. I can’t wait for
the next challenge – hopefully, with bigger
plates for the judges!
