SWIMMING

COMPETITION

n Tuesday, 4th March, we had our first

swimming competition. It was my
O first time competing in the event, so
I was overcome with anxiety. I had to swim
the 25-metre freestyle and a relay race. I
was seriously nervous because I was rac-
ing against some of my friends and I knew

was so glad I had some friends competing
with me! Without them, I would have been
even more worried! I was also glad that all
my housemates were very nice and sup-

portive. I will admit, I didn’t want to do the
competition in the first place, but after par-
ticipating, I’m glad that I did. It was a fun and
interesting new experience!
