he first weekend after half term brought a burst of island energy as
Elkanemi House hosted this term’s Boarding Theme Night, transforming
T the Pavilion into a slice of Barbados. From bright colours to lively
Caribbean rhythms and flavourful dishes, the space felt warm and inviting, with
students creating an atmosphere that carried us far from Abuja for an evening.
What stood out most was the intention behind it all: students planning,
preparing, and pulling the night together with pride. It was less about
pretending to be somewhere else, and more about building something
meaningful right here, together.
