t was another weekend of arguments and counter-argu-
ments last weekend in the school. The Boarding students
displayed their polemic wits wrapped up in fine clothing of
I rhetorics. Please, pardon my oratory jargon. I am only trying
to exercise my verbal muscles. However, since I would not be
elucidating further, may I invite you to peruse pages 6-9 for a
clearer understanding of my verbiage?
Within the same week, the Year 8 students went to the National
Space Research and Development Agency on a Science Trip.
They came back with their own experience to share on pages
10-11.
Just to remind you that The Regent Secondary School places
much value on co-curricular activities as well as academics,
the After School Activities Accolades Assembly was held to
honour students who were outstanding in their various clubs.
There is more for you on pages 13-22.
My question is: how do you keep your lips from being dry in this
weather? I have my own way, but you may want to know more
about ‘Dry Skin and Lips’ from the Medical Corner on pages 26-
27.
Finally, you would want to meet our reader of the week for this
week, as well as other exciting items in this week’s edition of The
Regent Digest, all for you.
