Unveil Activity
The Early Years Immersion programme is labelled UNVEIL.
Immersion is an educational methodology designed to facilitate language acquisition by fully immersing
students in an environment where the target language is expressed. In this context, the acquisition of a
second language is achieved through theme-based learning.
In this one-week-long immersion, we made ade-
quate plans for the children to deeply awaken their
curiosity by independently exploring the theme-
based resources available during Continuous Pro-
vision.
The sub-themes were introduced using books, im-
ages, props, music, vocabulary, objects, and crafts,
effectively pre-teaching the children about what
they would experience during the term.
