During the first half of this term, Year 2 students will immerse themselves in the captivating theme of
“Under the Sea.” To kick off their exploration, the children enthusiastically engaged in a creative arts
session where they crafted stunning representations of marine life. Each student took delight in design-
ing representations of whales, dolphins, and orcas, using various materials to bring their underwater
visions to life. This hands-on activity sparked their imagination and provided a tangible connection to
the fascinating world beneath the waves. As they shared their colourful creations, their excitement and
curiosity about ocean life were evident, setting a dynamic tone for the rest of the term.
