In Music Club, children explore the joy of music through singing, playing instruments,
and learning simple musical concepts. These fun activities help develop important skills
like memory, problem-solving, and even early maths – all while encouraging creativity and
self-expression.
One of the highlights this term was using microphones! The children loved speaking and
singing into them, building confidence and learning about how sound can be amplified.
They also began learning solfa notes through familiar nursery rhymes. With adult support,
they practised recognising different sounds, which helps with listening skills and musical un-
derstanding.
Music continues to be a wonderful way for children to express themselves, connect with
others, and grow in confidence – proving once again that music truly is the medicine of the
mind.
