Aisha Indimi Shares Her Experience Participating In The 2025 Dance Competition
ur Inter-house dance competition turned
out to be one of the highlights of the term.
From the moment it was announced, there
O was this mix of excitement and nerves
throughout the school. Everyone was already
imagining the music, the moves, and what it would
be like to perform in front of a crowd.
The lead-up to the competition was just as fun as
the event itself. Each house spent countless hours
after school putting their routines together, and you
could really see the creativity come through. Some
went for fast-paced, high-energy dances, while
others focused on precise choreography and good
formations. It wasn’t about following trends; it was
about doing something original and making it work
as a team.
What stood out most was how involved everyone
got. Even people who weren’t normally into dancing
were suddenly suggesting moves or helping with
the music. It wasn’t just about competing anymore;
it became something we were all part of, whether
we were on stage or in the audience.
Competing was fun, but it was also about enjoying
the moment together. Everyone was cheering,
supporting their friends, and just having a good
time. In the end, even though Benue won, the whole
competition was more about the experience. It was
definitely a day none of us will forget anytime soon.
