SHOWCASING HOW VOLCANOES ERUPT FROM THE EARTH STRUCTURE.

The Year 4 learners had an exciting and engaging time showcasing how volcanoes erupt from
the Earth’s structure.

Volcanoes erupt when a significant crack develops in the Earth’s crust. Magma (called Lava)
from the mantle travels through these cracks and emerges at the Earth’s surface.
From measuring the right amount of baking soda to pouring the vinegar into the crater, the
learners keenly watched as the chemical substance formed erupted.
