Teachers Day
Celebration
The Regent College celebrated Teacher’s Day with enthusiasm and genuine appreciation for its
dedicated teachers, using the theme “Light Bearers.” This theme highlighted the role of teachers as
leaders who guide and light the way for knowledge, wisdom, and character in their students.
The event, entirely organized by the students, created a warm and festive atmosphere filled with
gratitude and creativity. The celebration included presentations from the three platoons, each
showcasing unique performances that emphasized the significant impact teachers have on the
students’ lives. The students expressed their admiration for the teachers who serve as “bearers of
light” in their academic and personal journeys.
Adding liveliness to the occasion, fun-filled games were organized for both students and teachers,
creating a spirit of camaraderie and shared joy. Teachers participated enthusiastically, making the
celebration even more memorable.
The program ended with the students’ heartfelt appreciation, thanking the teachers for their hard
work, guidance, and mentorship. The “Light Bearers” celebration honoured the teachers and
strengthened the bond between them and their students, making it a memorable occasion.
