Standing Together Against Bullying

    The Power for Good

In our school, we believe that kindness is
 strength. Anti-Bullying Week reminds us

that every smile, kind word, and act of re-
spect makes a real difference. Whether it is

in the classroom, on the playground, or on-
line, each of us has the power for good — to

make our school a safe, welcoming place for
 everyone.

    What Is Bullying?

Bullying is when someone repeatedly hurts,
frightens, or leaves another person out on

purpose. It can be physical, verbal, emotion-
al, or even happen online. Sometimes it is
easy to spot, but at other times it is hidden

behind laughter or silence — which is why
 awareness is so important.

Bullying can take many forms — teasing, ex-
clusion, spreading rumours, or even unkind

messages online. No one deserves to feel
small, scared, or left out. That is why we are
all encouraged to use our voices and actions

 for good.

“Kindness is the language which the
deaf can hear and the blind can see.”

 – Mark Twain
