YEAR 3
Our Year 3 pupils had an exciting science lesson learning all about fossils! The children
discovered that fossils are the remains or impressions of plants and animals that lived long
ago. They looked closely at pictures of real fossils and even created their own fossil prints
using clay and shells!
The classroom buzzed with
excitement as everyone shared
what they thought ancient
creatures might have looked
like. Some children imagined
giant dinosaurs, while others
thought of tiny sea creatures
hiding in rocks.
The pictures captured
moments of curiosity,
teamwork, and creativity —
from careful observations to
big smiles when their fossil
models were finished. It was
truly a fun and fascinating way
to learn about the past!
Year 3 now knows that every
fossil tells a story — a story
from millions of years ago!
