Year 6 Jaguar Class Assembly
“There is no health without mental health.” — United Nations
In line with the UN’s call to promote mental well-being for all, our remarkable Year 6
Jaguars brought the message to life through their lively play, “Your Mind Matters.”
Set on a bustling Lagos (Danfo) bus, the performance mixed humour, creativity, and heartfelt
lessons to show how everyday stress can affect our peace of mind. From a “Pilot” bus driver to a
funny herbal seller, the play reminded everyone that taking care of our minds is just as important as
caring for our bodies.
With laughter and wisdom, the young actors emphasized simple copping strategies which talks
about our feelings, rest when you’re tired, and always choose kindness. The message was clear: a
healthy mind is true happiness, and The Mind Matters!
