What becomes of a Regent student who
dares to dream?
Let us start with a quick quiz:
i. What is the difference between being gifted and being talented?
ii. Can a person be both gifted and talented?
iii. Are you gifted, talented or both?
While reflecting on the questions, you may also consider how much your
school contributed to developing your academic abilities and skills during
your younger years. The Regent Secondary School does not celebrate
academic achievements alone, it also celebrates its students’ efforts
in Co-curricular activities. That is why the Term 2 After School Activities
Accolades Assembly was held last week. It was an avenue to recognise
students who stood out in their respective after school clubs and societies.
Please visit pages 6-17 for details.
What becomes of a Regent student who dares to dream?
Known artistically as Patendoyart, she returns to her roots with an exciting
art exhibition. Bold, vibrant, and globally recognised, her work reflects the
creative spirit The Regent nurtures. See pages 18 - 19 for more.
Meanwhile, the Medical Corner this week presents an unusual medication
which is overly efficacious, cheap and very easy to access. Very
importantly, we all need it. If you wonder what medication that is, you
need to go to pages 20-21.
Of course, there are still a number of other pages to see on The Regent
Digest if you start to peruse it now.
