T oday we’re taking a moment to highlight
things that often happen after the final
bell, our after school activities. These clubs
and programs are more than just ways to pass
time, they’re powerful opportunities for learning
growth and connection between our peers.
After school activities help us discover new
passions, build confidence and develop
important life skills like teamwork leadership and
time management. Whether it’s through music,
sports, drama, debate or coding the experience
shape who we are and who we’re becoming.
They give us a chance to explore what excites
us and something even that challenges us in
a way that builds resilience, and pride. Most
importantly they bring us together helping us
form friendships, find our voice and feel a deeper
sense of belonging in our school community.
So as we celebrate these programs today let’s
remember that what we do after school can be
just as powerful as what we do In a classroom
“What we learn with pleasure we never forget
and often its outside the classroom here the
most lasting lessons are found” -John brown
