YEAR 5 KOALA ASSEMBLY

To commemorate this year’s
Anti-Bullying Week, the Year 5
Koala Class delivered a powerful
and thought-provoking assembly
centred on kindness, empathy, and
the impact our actions have on
others.

Their drama presentation, titled
“The Ripple Effect; Use Your
Power for Good,” told the
heartfelt story of how even the
smallest act, positive or
negative, can spread far beyond
what we see. Through engaging
scenes, expressive acting, and
clear messaging, the Koalas
illustrated how words and b
ehaviours create ripples that affect
classmates, friends, and the wider
school community.

The performance encouraged
everyone to reflect on how they
use their own power. The
children reminded the audience
that choosing kindness, standing
up for others, and including those
who feel left out are powerful
ways to create positive ripples.

The Koala Class ended their
assembly with a strong call to
action: “Be the ripple that makes
our school a happier place.”
