        3.ENCOURAGE REGULAR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

Walking, running, or playing outside helps
stimulate digestion and keeps the bowels
moving. Students should be encouraged to
participate in daily physical activities during
        school hours.

        4.ESTABLISH A ROUTINE BATHROOM HABIT
                                                                                Facts about Constipation
Encourage children not to ignore the urge to go
to the toilet. Regular bathroom times, especially
after meals, can help train the bowel.

        5. LIMIT JUNK FOOD AND SUGARY SNACKS
Highly processed foods and low-fibre snacks
        can worsen constipation. Choose healthier
snack options like nuts, fruits, or yoghurt.

        6.MANAGE STRESS
Stress can affect bowel habits, especially in
children. Promote a supportive and calm school
        and home environment.

        7. KNOW WHEN TO SEE A DOCTOR
If constipation lasts more than a few days

or is accompanied by pain, blood in stool, or
        significant discomfort, seek medical attention.
Good bowel health contributes to better
        concentration, mood, and overall well-being.
Let’s work together to ensure a healthy school
        community!
