As long as the lemon trees grow is set in Syria during
the Syrian civil war and tells a story about 18 year-
old Salama Kassab who has been a victim of war as
she navigates life under cruel dictatorship. She faced
many conflicts but the biggest one being the constant
battles with herself on whether to flee and abandon
her home land or to stay and fight for her country.
