Introduction

am a dedicated educator with a strong background
in Biology and Science teaching. I hold a degree in
I Biology Education from the University of Abuja and
completed IJMB A-Level studies in Biology, Chemistry, and
Physics at Ahmadu Bello University. I have gained valuable

experience teaching students across Key Stages 3 and
4, including preparing learners for IGCSE examinations.

I am passionate about making complex concepts ac-
cessible and relatable, using student-centred teach-
ing that encourages critical thinking, collaboration,
Israel Akinya and a genuine love for learning. Alongside subject ex-
Biology Teacher pertise, I bring strong organisational skills, adaptabili-
ty, and enthusiasm for mentoring young people, help-

ing them succeed academically and build life skills.

I joined The Regent School because of its reputation for ex-
cellence and look forward to contributing to the growth of
its learners.

y name is Philip Terhemba, and I am delighted
to be part of The Regent School community
Mas a Science and Chemistry teacher. With
over 12 years of teaching experience, I hold a B.Sc
(Ed) in Chemistry, which has equipped me to deliver
engaging lessons and inspire students in the sciences.

I am passionate about simplifying complex concepts,
making science relatable, and encouraging critical
thinking and problem-solving skills.

My motivation to join The Regent School stems from
its reputation for academic excellence and holistic Philip Terhembase
