                                                                                                                                                                                                     As we progressed with our theme,
                                                                                                                                                                                                     “Learning Through Rhymes and
                                                                                                                                                                                                     Music,” the children explored the
                                                                                                                                                                                                     popular rhyme “I Am the Music
                                                                                                                                                                                                     Man.” To extend their learning and

                                                                                                                                                                                                     where they had the opportunity to
                                                                                                                                                                                                     interact with real musical instru-

                                                                                                                                                                                                     The music teachers introduced
                                                                                                                                                                                                     the children to a variety of instru-
                                                                                                                                                                                                     ments, including drums, tambou-
                                                                                                                                                                                                     rines, keyboards, and shakers.
                                                                                                                                                                                                     They were excited to discover how
                                                                                                                                                                                                     each instrument creates sound, tap-
                                                                                                                                                                                                     ping, shaking, and playing along
                                                                                                                                                                                                     to the rhythm of the song. The
                                                                                                                                                                                                     children joyfully sang “I Am the
                                                                                                                                                                                                     Music Man” together, following
                                                                                                                                                                                                     the tune and accompanying actions
                                                                                                                                                                                                     with great enthusiasm.

                                                                                                                                                                                                     This enriching activity supported
                                                                                                                                                                                                     the development of their listening
                                                                                                                                                                                                     and coordination skills while fos-
                                                                                                                                                                                                     tering creativity, rhythm aware-
                                                                                                                                                                                                     ness, and self-expression through
                                                                                                                                                                                                     music. It was a lively, fun-filled
                                                                                                                                                                                                     session filled with smiles, energy,
                                                                                                                                                                                                     and beautiful sounds!
