PROJECT : REPLACE CUTTING

MACHINE ON CUTTING AREA

A new raw material cutting machine for the open rolling mill was

installed at the last stop in August.

Replacing an old machine, the new saw

increwases capacity and is able to cut 250mm

wide. This latest equipment allows for the

automatic cutting of parts, optimizing the

durability of the blades by automatically

adjusting the cutting parameters based on the

materials and sections to be cut.

TABLE ON SHOT BLAST 2

A new loading bench installed on Shot blast, installed by end of August,

allows for better separation and handling of steel bars and increased

machine efficiency and operator safety. This bench was installed to

challenges on the sector. Before the bundles

were placed directly on the entry roller table and

separated each bar, which was impacting on

reduced productivity and operations risks for

the operator. Now, the bars are loaded and separated in the previous

table and passed onimmediately when the roller table is free.
