NEW SAFETY MOTTO
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve safety in the workplace, a TA
workshop is held every Monday, focusing on key areas such as monthly
developments in workplace accidents, particularly in critical tasks where
accidents occur most frequently. Each session includes a review of accident
data, an open space for suggestions to improve workplaces and a follow-up
on the action plan to reduce accidents. The aim is clear: to identify the
causes and take effective remedial action to promote a safer working
environment.
In addition, we recently launched a competition on the subject of a new
safety motto and invited all employees to contribute their creative ideas.
We sincerely thank all who participated. After a round of voting, our new
safety motto was chosen:
“Safety is our strongest alloy! / A segurança é a nossa liga mais
resistente!” by Ricardo Pereira (1st place).
We also congratulate the runners-up:
Ana Caiano (2nd place) - “Strong in security, resistant as steel.”
Rui dos Santos (3rd place) - “Stainless safety”.
The winning motto will be featured on the new “Mais Segurança” T-shirts,
which will soon be distributed to all employees as a simple reminder of our
shared commitment to safety.
