TO

GORKHA

According to our SS curriculum of grade 5,
we went to visit Gorkha as we were learning about
the history of Nepal. On the 4th of December, in SS
class, our teachers divided the hiking groups but we
got to choose our room partners by ourselves. On
11th December, we boarded our bus at around 7:30
am and left from school. On the way, we sang songs
and had a good time. Halfway there, we stopped for
lunch at the Barahensinghe hotel, Kurintar.
We had our lunch, spent some time and got
back on the bus. Then after about 2.5 hours, we fi-
nally reached Gorkha. We went to Gorkha Bisauni
Hotel. Then we went to our allotted room with our
partners. We kept our bags and rested for a while,
ate oranges and Litchi juice and then the entire class
headed to the museum. We observed the museum and
got to learn many things about ancient architecture
and Pritihivi Narayan Shah.

Then we returned to our hotel, we had
snacks, went to our rooms and refreshed ourselves.
My room partners were Pranav and Agrim. Later,
our teachers called for the skit and campfire. We
