DESCRIBING A PLACE

A Beautiful Place At Night

A gentle breeze sways the bougainvillea vines as the night sky casts
long shadows on the ground, "swoosh swoosh."

The sky glows with the bright island lights as the waves below gush.
The ocean water shimmers in the light, reflecting alluring colors.

The rare natural beauty of Santorini looks even more majestic at this
time. Santorini, arguably the most well-known of the Greek islands,
is distinguished by its rocky cliffs, whitewashed homes with blue
accents, and sunsets illuminating both the sky and the water. The
Greek island of Santorini has gained popularity as a tourist
destination, thanks to its traditional culture, stunning scenery, and
festivities.

"This is so beautiful," a young lady in her late 20s exclaims to her
boyfriend. "Glad you're liking it so far. There's a lot more to come,
and I’m sure you won't be disappointed." Saying this, he takes her by
the hand as they walk through the streets of Santorini, admiring the
breathtaking views and enjoying the lively environment. The night
sky is aglow with the bright island lights. A calm and peaceful

environment is created by flowers that release a sweet fragrance,
petals that dance to the sound of a cool, comforting breeze, and tall
trees that sway with the breeze. Under the moonlight, the happy pair
enjoy each other’s company as a cab comes to receive them.

Pink cherry blossoms dance under the pleasant breeze as they arrive
at their destination. The croaking of the frogs and the chirping of the
crickets break the silence of the night. Bright, yellow light from the
street lamps causes the water in the portholes to shimmer. The man
gives his girlfriend a comforting hug, and they both look up at the
constellation of stars that stretches in the pitch-black sky, where the
full moon shines like a big, royal dinner plate. "Look! Is that a
shooting star?" Surely, with a perfectly divine glow to the night sky,
a shooting star emerges, illuminating the entire sky. The two
immediately close their eyes and make a wish because, as they say,
shooting stars make wishes come true. Especially on nights like
tonight.
