GOING WITH THE FLOW

IGEM INDUSTRIAL AFFILIATE DNV
GL hosted a visit from the North East
& Yorkshire Section at its Testing
and Research Flow Centre, in
Bishop Auckland.
The facility undertakes testing and
calibration on a wide variety of offshore
and onshore metering solutions for the
hydrocarbon industry.
The evening was a great success with
a full attendance, including one IGEM
member who had travelled all the way
from Northampton.

FEDS CELEBRATES ANOTHER GREAT YEAR

IN JUNE, IGEM’s Far East District
Section (IGEM FEDS) organised its
23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at
Towngas headquarters, in Hong Kong.
Over 30 attendees were there to
witness 2018/19 FEDS Chair Eddie
Pak as he detailed the contents of the
Chairman’s Annual Report.
The achievements of FEDS over the
previous year were summarised before
Eddie, who continues as Chair this
year, opened the 2019/2020 session.
Eddie also informed the meeting
that Duncan Wong had been made
President Elect of IGEM.
An annual dinner followed the
meeting, with many prestigious
guests and past Chairs of the Section
invited to celebrate another fruitful
