Non-CITES Certificate

Sijil Bukan CITES adalah dokumen yang dikeluarkan bagi mengawal perdagangan antarabangsa
spesies hidupan liar yang disenaraikan di bawah Akta 716 namun tidak disenaraikan di bawah Akta
686. Sejumlah 403 Sijil Bukan CITES telah dikeluarkan pada tahun 2020 di mana 38% adalah untuk
aktiviti import, 44% untuk eksport dan 18% adalah untuk eksport semula. Jadual 7 di bawah menun-
jukkan pecahan Sijil Bukan CITES yang telah dikeluarkan pada tahun 2020 mengikut jenis aktiviti dan
kategori hidupan liar.

Non-CITES Certificate is a document issued to regulate the international trade of wildlife species
listed under Act 716 but not listed under the International Trade in Endangered Species Act 2008 [Act
686]. A total of 403 Non-CITES certificates were issued in the year 2020, comprising 38% import certifi-
cates, 44% export certificates, and 18% re-export certificates. The following Table 7 shows the number
of Non-CITES Certificates issued in 2020 according to the activity and category.
