There are steps or journey your prospects go through to the point
where they part with the money to buy whatever you are selling.
The reason for sharing this with you is not just for information. I
want you to understand that each of the processes has its own
peculiarity. Therefore, there is a bottleneck in any of the steps, it
may end up frustrating your effort to grow your business. In my
business coaching practice, when I encounter business owners
struggling with their business; they focus on getting more leads to
the detriment of all the other important steps. They cannot seem
to locate where in the process they need to look. If you are not an
expert, common sense may not be enough to solve the problem.
Beyond funnel, let me break down steps that must be examined
critically to explore which of them has a bottleneck that must be
removed. A bottleneck is any hindrance preventing the flow of
prospects through to becoming a customer. The warning is that it
extends to value delivery which is the quality of your service or
product. More importantly, the satisfaction of the customer to build
loyalty necessary to build a long-term sustainable business.
