CELLPHONES
Cellphones cannot be used in the Intensive Care Units (ICUs)—this includes texting and calling. Please turn your phone o while in the ICU because they interfere with life-saving equipment.
SECURITY
For your safety, all Memorial Hermann Northeast’s sta members wear nametag ID badges. Should you feel uncomfortable with hospital personnel at any time, please call the nurses’ station. Security personnel are available to escort you and visitors to your vehicles at ext. 7777. If you are not
on campus or near a hospital phone, security may be reached from your cell phone by dialing 281-319-8439.
CHAPLAINCY SERVICES
Hospital chaplains are available for grief counseling, prayer support, devotional needs, noti cation of local clergy, assisting with ethical issues and Medical Power of Attorney/Advance Directive (living will) counseling. Chaplaincy hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon to Fri. A chaplain is on-call 24/7
at ext. 7829 and the chapel, which is located on the rst oor of the Southwest Tower, is always open. Chapel services are held
every Wednesday, on special occasions, and on religious holidays at noon. FIRE SAFETY
We periodically announce and conduct re drills. If you hear an alarm, stay where you are. In an actual emergency, hospital sta will tell you what to do.

Payment by credit card is available in the cafeteria for visitors during normal business hours; otherwise payment is cash only, due immediately.
Guest breakfasts are $6.50 plus tax, and lunches/dinners are $8.50 plus tax. VENDING MACHINES
Beverage and snack vending machines are available 24/7. Three full service vending banks are located by the cafeteria, the Southwest Tower and in the Emergency Room. There also are beverage units located in most patient unit lounges.
