General Visiting Hours 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
For Visitors
Memorial Hermann Northeast would like to welcome you to our patient- centered, healing environment. Having visitors, family and friends around you can play an important role in healing. Please follow these rules for your comfort and safety:
• PLEASE DO NOT visit if you have a cold, sore throat, fever or infection.
• WASH YOUR HAND
before entering and when leaving the patient’s room.
• ASK before bringing  owers, perfumes, food/drink, balloons or other items that may trigger allergies or disrupt other patients.
• RESPECT all “no visitor”, “isolation,” or any signs posted.
• PLEASE BE QUIET, and respect the healing of other patients.
• SILENCE cell phones. Cell phone use
is NOT allowed in the Intensive Care Unit.
• STEP OUT of the room when asked by the sta , if it is necessary for the well being of the patient.
• USE THE PUBLIC RESTROOMS
outside the patient’s room and help
us keep the patient’s room sanitary.
• PLEASE SUPERVISE all children and
infants at all times. Please do not bring sick children to the hospital.
• Children 12 and over may visit the ICU.
Visitation Badge
All visitors must be issued an I.D. badge by the patient’s nursing unit, and the badge must be worn at all times while in the hospital.
ICU Visitors to ICU must  rst check in with unit personnel to ensure the safety of the patient and sta , as well as patient availability.
Overnight After 9 p.m., one
care partner may remain overnight in the patient’s room. That care partner must obtain a badge from the nursing unit. Care partners staying overnight are not allowed to sleep on the  oor. Patient and visitor belongings must not obstruct healthcare providers’ access or ability to care for a patient.
