4 Pull the rope parallel to the poles and
start to put in some trapping turns.
5 After making trapping turns between the
first two poles move on to make trapping

turns round the other pair of poles.
6 Finish off with a clove hitch round the
pole from which you first started.

7 The tripod can now be opened out.
